Above is a table of obesity rates of high school students from 1999 to 2015 using the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, (YRBS), given by the Centers for Disease Control, (CDC). The table shows a very unsettling trend. Instead of getting healthier, the future of America is getting worse. It has been proven time and time again that unhealthy people are not as productive, so what hope do we have as a country if we are not healthy?

Projections

If this country stays on its current trend, (and doesn't get worse mind you), there will be a 10 percent increase of obesity in the U.S. by the year 2025. With that increase we will see a 27% increase in heart disease and stroke, a 21% increase in diabetes, and double digit increases in arthritis and high blood pressure. We are headed in the wrong direction!

You think it's expensive now...

If this trend continues, healthcare rates will continue to increase exponentially.  If however, we as a country, begin taking better care of our bodies, healthcare rates can be better managed... BECAUSE WE WON'T NEED AS MUCH CARE! That is our vision for America!
